How to clean nickel? I can't use polish or metal cleaners.

I just need a basic way to clean nickel without any chemicals. Should I buff it with a cloth? A damp cloth? Would eyeglass cloths work? Thanks.

The best product I've ever used is called, "Never Dull". Here's a link to the product and where you can buy it: http://www.nevrdull.com/page5.html

Try cutting a potato and dipping the cut side in baking soda and using that to polish your nickel. This works like a charm on silver too!

I had chemical pneumonia... if there is a non-toxic or less-toxic way to clean something, I know about it, lol.

I've used ketchup on my brass before, worked pretty good, should work nicely on your nickel.
