We should try to talk to God as much as possible throughout the day, no matter where we are or what we are doing. The apostle Paul recommended in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 to "pray incessantly". God also invites us to 'draw close to him, and he will draw close to us' in James 4:8. So, the more we talk to him the closer we get to him and the closer he gets to us. God also offers us to 'throw our burden on him and he will sustain us', indicating to us that he can help us deal with our troubles, we simply need to trust in him and let him take care of the situation (Psalm 55:22).
There are so many more reasons as to why we should talk to God "incessantly", so my answer is just like alva's answer, not enough.

Before I go to sleep:)
I don't think of it as praying, it's more like ''You know, Lord, that really needs your attention", and I do it all the time. What I call formal praying I do when I get up and before I go to bed. Oh, and I say grace before I eat.
Whenever I'm deep in s**t. My prayers are about as genuine as the assistance I get from them, though. ;)
As often as possible! Mostly before I go to sleep when I am laying down in bed. It's good to thank god for the blessings has he given you :)
5 times a day
I don't pray. The holy spirit is fake and all that crap so I don't see the point.
I pray of a morning and of an evening. I also ask for each meal to get blessed. So I pray roughly 5 times a day. But I believe we would want quality here, not quantity. God bless
Everyday. :) thanking Him for all He's blessed me with. Like my family and friends and i pray for others who are in distressing situations. & i pray that I do my best to make Him proud. I pray as
much as I can to show I'm thankful :)
I usually pray before I go to bed, but throughout the day, I pray small prayers like, "God please help me treat others like You would today." or, "God, please help them feel better." It's good to pray for people, it takes your selfishness away. Praise God! :)
I pray when i need help from God. :)
Never. When I was little I tried praying because I lost $5 and I tried to pray that I would get it back. But I stopped in the middle of it because I realized i was just talking to the wall. But a few months later my grandma gave me $5 so it was ok. And about 3 years later I found $5 under my couch lol
My life is a singular act of prayer and praise.
Pray (v.): "To ask that the laws of the universe be annulled in behalf of a single petitioner, confessedly unworthy".
So, I don't. Heaven or god hath no ear to listen, and no hand to give.
5 times a day!
I pray every night. Im getting in the habit of praying more throughout the day every once in a while
I pray as often as needed in order to praise, plea, worship, talk and to receive comfort from God. (1 Thessalonians 5:17) There is no set amount of time that I can say that I pray. It is as often as needed. If I need to pray all day - then that is what I will do ...if I need to pray 3 times a day I will do so - however, I will not develop a routine that does not allow me to pray as my heart feel the need to do at any given time.
Prayer is our major means of communicating with Almighty God. (James 4:8) It enables us to draw close to God and to remain in his favor. Prayer is our means of gaining a deeper insight into the making of Almighty God.
It is often sometimes or even impossible to obtain an appointment to speak with an high official - however, Almighty God is NEVER too busy to hear our prayer, our cry, our cry for mercy, cry for peace, cry for substinate. He is always there to communicate with us.
Every night and sometimes at like 4am.
I guess at least 7 times a day, but thats just me.
Who am I to shut God out of my mind? To pray only when I think I have time? Why not be in a continual conversation with our God throughout out whole life? We expect God to come to us like a sick puppy. We say, "Ok, God, I have time for you now. Here's what I want." Have you ever considered how big of a God you have? Hello! He created you. He is infinite in knowledge and wisdom. Have you read the book of Job? If not, at least read chapters 38-42. It has a point. Who are we to demand that God answers us when we want? To listen to us when we want Him to listen? My point is, I try to always be in a conversation with my Heavenly Father. Not talking to Him, but with Him. Never coming to Him when I have time, but always with Him whether I have time or not.
Pray this helps. God bless. - Zack
1 Thessalonians 5:17 encourages us to "pray incessantly". I pray, or rather talk to God whenever I want to, and wherever I am. It's such a privilege to be able to speak with the highest personage in the universe and know that he not only hears what I have to say, but truly cares about the things that weighs upon my heart and mind!(1 Peter 5:7) He is truly my God, my Father, my Best Friend. =)
When im in trouble
By prayer, if you mean the five times compulsory prayer, then I pray five times a day, since I'm a Muslim.
If by prayer, you mean, asking God for something, I don't count. I do it for almost everything.
