Why is NASA beaming a song from Mars to Earth? I don't get it. Isn't that just a waste of resources?
To see if they can?
The song by rapper William is going to be beaming a song from Mars to Earth, which is created like so because of the song's title dubbed 'Reach for the Stars.' The expenses of the NASA beaming the song will be out of William's expense, and not the government expense. The U.S. is nothing if not good at being wasteful.......
They think there are creatures hiding in the craters on Mars and they think the music will draw them out.
I would think it could answer a number of questions. The first that comes to mind is how long it takes for the signal to get from there to here.
Hi, E.. the reason for this, is so that NASA can stir up some younger interest in the Space Program.. It will be transmitted back to JPL (the Jet Propulsion Lab) in Pasadena as an "educational stunt".. Go NASA.. (salute to my dad)..
If curiosity is solar powered, the only resources being used are sunlight, which isn't going to die out anytime soon. Once it does, no one will care that it was wasted.
