Can someone explain this? (Read the details)

Someone at school was talking about something that was believable, but we were pretty sure was a lie. The teacher responded by sarcastically saying "Mr. Anderson." What is that supposed to mean?

...I still don't get it, what's the term "Mr. Anderson" supposed to mean, does it mean "that's a lie"?

The term mr. Anderson is a quote from the movie the matrix. Mr Anderson is also refered to as neo.
