Does it hurt to donate eggs?

I'm considering donating my eggs and I've read a lot online but I'm wondering does it hurt and if so for how long

you have several blood tests in the beginning, and they do have to give you pain medicine before they do the small surgical procedure to remove the eggs, and you are told to take it easy, but as far as I can tell it's just uncomfortable.

Thank you. I can deal with pain I'm just curious how much it hurts but if it's discomfort only I can do that with my eyes closed

Hmmmm..... chicken eggs are at least $1.79 per dozen. Don't ya think you could at least get some gas money out of it?

I have heard it hurts and can last up to 3-5 days. But that's great you wanna do this. You should talk to the dr, you don't wanna donate too many if you haven't had kids yet or wanting to have more.

It does not hurt. They do give you medicine to increase egg production and you may feel discomfort prior to extraction.
