What do the onions that go in martinis taste like and what kind of martini are they in?

The type of onions that are used are cocktail onions and pearl onions with paprika and turmeric in small amounts pickled with brine. It is a sweet onion and is used in flavored martinis, dessert martinis and flavored vodka martinis. Read more details at http://www.wikihow.com/Make-Martinis.

A martini with an onion is called Gibson.

it taste good, think its called dirty martini. but i like the olive one better.
