I just swear i just saw a star light up brighter and burst. i dont know who to tell. please help?

i just walked out side my house and sat down with my siblings i looked to my left and saw a star light up and disapear. i dont know who to tell. can some one please tell me.?

More than likely this was a small meteor, if the angle you are viewing it from is just right they can look JUST like this, a star and a flash, real quick. I saw several like this during the last Meteor Shower back on the 10th, in fact it may be a straggler from that particular cluster ;)

It's probably just a star dying. Nothing to concern yourself with...
*Shit, area 51, come in...they've spotted it! Take out imagovero, quickly!

its probably a dead star, or a beginning of an invasion, wouldnt worry about it too much though.
