Disodium phosphate is not bad for you if used at the right quantity and manner. It simply refers to any sodium salt of phosphoric acid and helps to improve the quality and stability of food. Disodium phosphate also helps stabilize proteins in foods like pudding, ice cream, canned milk and cheese powders.
