No. Giving kids the opportunity to get free condoms is promoting sex and trying to say that it's okay at any age to have sex with a condom. Would it be okay to give condoms out in a elementary school? No, so why should they be given out in any other schools? It's the same idea. Not to mention, I highly doubt that these are quality condoms, so if one breaks while in use, the school now got a student pregnant or gave a student a sexually transmitted disease.
It is not there place. My child needs to talk to me. In my opinion all they are doing is encouraging sex and that is not ok with me! Parents need to be more in tune with their children so you know what's going on. My daughter is not a teen anymore but she knew and still knows she can speak to me about anything. Take the time for your child your responsibility doesnt end at birth!
I feel like public schools have taken on too many roles as it is. They are no longer the place that a kid goes to to learn how to read and do math. They have also become the place that provides meals, clothing, and in some cases daycare for students with children. Where does it end?
