I am a number between 10 and 20. you can add 2 to me and get the number that is the sum of 7 and 9. what number am i?

my friend typed it because everyone else did. But i think it is 16. because the sum of 7 and 9 is 16.

Sum means add so I would guess 16 but everyone else says 14,....

Yes look at hers! in the comments it explains it because it is the sum of 7 and 9 - 2 so 16-=14

if you are in 5th grade im not sure if you can be on this website..... but whatever. i got 14 because the sum of 7&9 is 16. minus 2 from 16 and you get 14. if you don't get it, read your question over and then you will. i hope i helped! ;)
