How do you make yourself fall asleep faster?

I'm not tired at all but I have to go to bed cause I have to get up early tomorrow and I don't want to be all tired.

people go to sleep to rest their body so if you are not tired you have to make yourself tired how do you do that? well it is kind of obvious exercise both healthy and makes you sleep like a baby

I take a hot bubble bath before bed and lay on my tummy and I'm out in 10-20 minutes

Close your eyes and imagine counting sheep. Or think about you visiting somewhere where you really liked or could even be a video game visual in your head of you actually being in the game. It makes your brain tired and eventually fall asleep.

well 4 me is nothing to make us sleep faster... with out-zipping your bant and pull out the one and only little brother, and having a great time with him before go to sleep. by that way you migth sleep a hour, so you will feel fresh-when you woke up.

try the supplement called melatonin, its great and its natural. Not at all addictive since your body secretes it naturally. just take two 5 mg. pills and turn the lights out and with in 15 minutes you'll be out like a light.

i just turn the lights out and lay in bed with the lights out and the fan going and im all good to go then i'm out in 5 to 10 minutes

anyways u should try and think of the dream you want to have, like vizulize a video game, a book, or some movie or show, think about school or something. (Math makes me asleep, so I would think about that.... OH AND NEVER EVER COUNT SHEEP! I stopped at 1046 when I said it wouldn't work :I

put on a talk radio station next to your bed but turn the volume down just enough so you can't hear what they are saying...for some reason the non rhythmic white noise (unlike music or nature sounds which have patterns you start to follow) helps me drift off

For me, reading books just before bed for about half an hour. you will eventually go to sleep. It will also help activate your brain before you go to sleep. Try and get into a pattern.
Also reading for a nother 30 minuites in the morning before you go about your morning chores, breakfast and daily events. gives you a good mental state for the day.
It's a good practice to give a go.

Dont do any of the physical stuff people are saying. it will just get your adrenaline up and it doesnt help. With me i just think of a scenario in my head and it works better if you think of every single detail and dont open your eyes. not even once. otherwise start from the start
