How do you remove a skunk smell from your car?

To remove skunk smell from the car, first open all the car doors and take out all mats and other removable items. Secondly, clean the dashboard with soap and water and wipe down the steering wheel. Thirdly, spray a skunk odor remover to all car upholstery. Next, spray an air deodorizer throughout the interior of the car and place two bowls of activated charcoal in the car overnight. Open all car doors and windows, and spill tomato juice all over the car. Next let it stay like that for about an hour, that should do it

Tomato juice works on animals, but will make a mess out of your carpet. Buy a couple douches (like Summer's Eve) and pour them on the carpet. These work for animals also and probably won't stain like the juice will.

Pour a couple of gallons of Premium gasoline in your car. Roll down the windows (this is important for safety) toss in a match. let it burn for several hours. Go buy a new car. Take the new car and drive to the Betty Ford Clinic. You need to sober up!

I suspect the nature of the smell (hey, world, when was the last time a skunk let loose in YOUR car? ) Tomato juice is good, so is lemon juice, but probably something store-bought would be best. Maybe don't take Mom for a ride in your car after you spark up next time.

Hope you are talking about the outside. Assume you have already taken it through the car wash. Time. That's all. It is just going to take time. A few days to two weeks.

first of all - REMOVE THE SKUNK FROM THE INSIDE OF YOUR CAR and then do whatever is needed for the smell - tomato juice works good for animals..might work to wipe the car out with it or just take your car to an auto detailer and let them do their best.

First: DO NOT WASH WITH WATER it just makes it worse (trust me after my dog was sprayed we tried everything to get it out)

What I found that worked best are those Febreeze car fresheners those are the best:)

well i agree u should let the smell die away by letting all the windows down and have the doors open for 24 hours *u should do it in the garage if u have it* or buy like ten air freshners as i know there really cheap to but and go to the store to but a spray or carpet spray to deal with the skunk odor

amazon sells a product called X-O, it will get rid of skunk odor instantly. my old house had a nest somewhere nearby and several times a year we would get gassed if our windows were open. this is the best stuff ever. http://www.amazon.com/X-O-Neutralizer-8-oz-spray/dp/B0002XJ15A/ref=pd_sim_sbs_petsupplies_4
