Can y'all help me clarify this?

This is gonna be fun..... i know with the elections comming up and all people are expressing their love/hate towards our canadites....i know this may sound silly but i dont quite understand what all exactly each party or well any party(democratic, republican, tea, green, constitutional, libertarian etc.) believes and saupports. my home as well as most of my community have very republican views and well dont really give me a unbiased opinion on other parties....so well i would really like to know from yall what your party believes(: im trying my hand at deciding for myself what political strandpoint i should take(: oh one more thing... could someone please clarify the difference between republican/democrat and conservative/liberal? Thanks! :D

I'm not quite sure about conservative vs. liberal, but my family is awesome. We all have mixed views, and from an early age, have been educated on the plus and minus of both parties, no matter who is teaching us. I am leaning towards being a Democrat because they have freer rights, less biased opinions, a clearer view on the elections and the country's situation, much better options for women (come on this is the 21st century people!!), and a more all around coverage. What I mean by that is they have people of all ages, descents, beliefs, and positions on the ladder (poor, middle, and rich). Do lots of research on Wikipedia and such about both parties, look for the negative and the positive from biased and unbiased opinions. (this is all my personal opinion from my research) Good job for making up your own mind...Good luck!

I am a republican. I am a strong Christian, and I am conservative. (btw conservatives are very strict in belief. A lot if not all are Christians. Liberals are much more worldly.)

Just go to their website ... it will tell you what their "platforms" (core beliefs) are.

But you have to bear in mind there are people within every party who don't practice what their party believes. (Example: RINO = Republican In Name Only)

btw - I'm a libertarian. Not a Libertarian Party member ... but someone who believes in the libertarian philosophy. (Thus small "l", not big "L")
