How can I convince my mum that i should be able to wear Spandex shorts under my uniform skirts?

All the girls wear them under their uniform skirts and my friend let me borrow a pair and i loved how comfortable they were. I haven't asked my mum yet but i have a gut feeling that she will say they are to expensive.

Save your money up and buy some of your own, or be different and don't wear them.
