I was born with a physical handicap. can i join the armed services?

I was born with a moderate case of bi-lateral club feet. most people dont know until i tell them thanks to the wonders of medicine but there are a few physical limitations that it presents and I was just curious if that would exempt me from ever having any career in the armed forces. Thank you for your input.

I'm not sure. I know you have to take a physical and tell them EVERYTHING that's wrong with you. That would have to be something you'd need to talk to a recruiter about. Depending on how bad it may be may depend on which branch of military you can join. Good Luck! (I'm going into the Marines so I might see you there, oorah!)

Best of luck in being a Marine. And thank you for wanting to serve our country. God Bless you.

Chances are they won't take you. You need to contact a local recruiter. They can advise you best.

I would almost doubt it since a lot of physical things you have to do. Not saying you can't but they might say different. You could talk to a recruiter maybe they could come up with something for you. Good luck.
