I had a dream last night and I saw the letters a-r-a-m-d-a. I looked it up today and it said it means Navy in a language I never heard of.

I never heard the word or saw the word in my life before. In the dream there were two twins, and one died. The other became crazy. I was thinking of calling the book, "The bad one," and then I got that word for Navy in my head. What do you think it means?

Are you sure the letters didn't spell "armada" ... a long-used word in English for a naval force.

I'm a SHE and yes, I've never heard of the word before. Sometimes I think I'm a little phycick based off of... things... I can do.

Maybe you mean "psychic" ... but there is no such thing.
If you doubt that - contact the government. They've spent billions of dollars since the 1940's trying to find real psychics.

Armada may originate from a foreign language but it is very much part if the English language. Im sure you just heard ut on TV or in a movie and dont remember. You could easily have read it in one of your history books as well because it is used frequently in mention of wars with naval involvement. The most famous mention in history, that i assume is still taught, is the Spanish Armada sent to destroy the English navy and capture major Brit ports. Instead it was destroyed BY the English navy under the command of Sir Francis Drake.
Dreaming the word 'armada' is no big mysterious thing.

Armada, were you reading something about history before going to bed ... ? or you love history ? Armada is a word ( language, i don't know, ) referring to naval warships ... There is a famous battle of Spanish Armada .... And you are not the one to which these strange thing happens . In dreams, we sometimes see things which we can't relate to our lives. Just thing, while reading some book or in some library or where-ever you might have got a glance of Armada, it went into your sub-conscious mind. And it is a well known fact that in while sleeping our mind works very fast. In a sleep of 6-7 hours we can live many lives in our dreams. Have you ever studied your dreams...? Just as some people maintain diary of their day-to-day lives, some people maintain records of their dreams. ( I do ) Make a diary ( or a notebook ) and write about what dreams you had ( just after waking up in morning, and those which you remember, many dreams we don't remember ). Then you would see a pattern, which would give you many things to know, about you, about how human brain, mind works, what your potential is .... Believe me, try this ... You would enjoy it ... :-)

Thxs for the advice. :). I acutally DID keep a dream diary at one point, but gave up on it. I think I might start again because of what happens in my dreams. I know that I'm making two plus two make five, but, sometimes, when I'm dreaming, I dunno. Sometimes people randomly go up to me and say something like, "There's going to be three thunderstorms later tonight," And then in the morning it was on the news that, despite the zero percent chance of rain, there were three thunderstorms in the night. Or, much more rarely, something will cut into my dream. An image. I'll be there. I'll feel it, I'll smell it, etc, etc, then a few years later, even a few days later, the exact same thing will happen.

Then, there was this one thing when I was in first grade. (Second grade?) I had lost my speech thearpy folder, and searched everywhere for it. To no avail. It wasn't in my home. It wasn't in my locker. It wasn't at my school. One night, I had a dream. I was dreaming about something, then, all of a sudden, I was (My soul?) zooming out the front door, through the streets, I went through my school door, down the hall, and opened my locker. There, on the shelf, was my neon yellow speach thearpy folder. I closed my locker, zoomed back to my house, and continued dreaming. The next day, I went to my locker and, remembering my dream, thought to myself, "Oh what the heck." And looked on the shelf that it was sitting on in my dream. And there was my yellow speech folder. And I think that I can do more with my mind. Okay, sorry that I'm telling you about this. I dunno. I just think that it's wierd.

On a totally differnt note, I'm taking Civil Law in two Quarters in my high school. I think that it's like debate team. Since I went on your profile (Is it okay that I'm following you?) and saw that you said you're REALLY good at debates... any advice? Sorry that I'm writing so much. You give really good answers.

It's good you follow me ... :-) I have no problem... your experiences are interesting...

If you think THAT'S interesting, I could write a whole book about the experiences that I've had. Mainly it's ghost stuff. Yeah. I'm sounding kindda crazy. But... with the dream thing, one other thing that I think I might be able to do is when I'm playing rock paper scissors with my little sister, sometimes I can see the image in bright blue on her forehead. Then, sometimes I can also hear--this only happens with my dad--the answer to the question that I was asking before he says it. The forehead thing once happened with two kids that I didn't even know. I was wondering their names but didn't say anything. I saw the word Jack on one of their foreheads. When he wrote down his name, it was Jack. Then, I heard from somewhere that you can't read when you're dreaming. Well, when I was dreaming I was reading a book. I could read it clearly, and wrote down the exact words that I had read. I'm really wierd. =).

Then... one time when my mom and little sister and I were watching T.V. and eating dinner, I was watching the T.V. along with them, then out of the corner of my eye I saw my water bottle cap move very quickly a couple of inches. It was next to my mom. She was glued to the T.V. Then, when I was staring at my little sister's hairbrush and thinking about, well, this one supposed poltergist that a psychic summoned at our library, when I saw the hairbrush move, in the same fashion the things had moved when the 'poltergist' moved it. It moved once up, once down, then back into the normal position. I don't know what to think about it.

Wow. Well, it's good to know that I'm not going crazy. Lol. =D. You said with the reading in dream thing. What about the 'mind reading' thing? Sorry. Don't mean to pry. It's just cool to talk to someone who can do stuff that I can. Er, well, most people can, but, you're the first one whom I've talked to? I can't get it out right, but I think you see my point.

Dreams are really sometimes crazy. And as about mind reading, sorry, i have not tried that. And i don't think that i am some superhero of some novel and have abilities to peep into someone's mind. Yep, i have dreams, I maintain records. Things happen with me ( sometimes ), which i have seen in dreams in recent time. And sometimes they are completely not connected to anything in this living world. ( For eg. last to last night i had a dream that i am a French Royal prince and is leading an army against Egyptians, near the Nile ) And Egyptian commander is the same person who played the role of that villain in "The Mummy".. Whoa .. you may find it funny... There i had my father who were commanding the men, i had a sister ( who was also leading the army with me in full military uniform, LOL ) in reality i have no sister :( .

You're really lucky. I have a little sister. She can be a really big brat sometimes. But, we have some great laughs. I feel sorry for the kids she and I will have someday. When we get together we'll be the phsyco aunts. LOL. =). But about your reference to the villain in "The Mummy". I've never heard of the movie before. I'm guessing that it's scary? Do you have any pets instead of a sister? I don't. My mom's allergic to animal fur and we had three fish. The temp of the water changed too much, though, despite our best efforts, and all three had died within a week. First we had two. One died. We got another one. The other died. The final one died. We just aren't good with pets. LOL. =)

I don't like dogs, i can't stay with cats, and rest would not be allowed by my parents. ( Snake, fish, pigs etc...... LOL ) And how am i lucky ?( as you wrote above )
