How do I keep puppy from putting head between loft railing spindles?

Don't want puppy to fall from loft. Spindles on barrier railing are 5.5" apart.

You need to attach some materials between the loft railing spindles so that your puppy cannot put his head there. You can also modify the rails to make sure that your dog is safe. Read more at http://www.ehow.com/list_7273762_deck-railing-ideas-dogs.html.

Using plastic ties, attach strong material like a canvas between the spindles.
