Why would the site send me to community guidelines when my question concerned the fact I had not broken them and wanted more explanation?

I asked because I had a reply blocked that was not against rules. I double checked guidelines and was sure. I asked the question and my question was taken down as having been asked before, but I did not ask it. I was linked back to guidelines that did not answer my question as to why a reply within guidelines would be blocked. Linking me back to the guidelines I have now checked repeatedly is not helping me to be better equipped here.

LoLo, thank you! Wish that had been told to me sooner but glad you did. I was getting a bit miffed when I got linked back to the guidelines I had already read over and over! I appreciate that link because I did not see it on the guidelines page! Totally appreciated!

You're welcome! By the way, I don't show anything hidden from you today. I do see that the filters blocked one of your answers because of a word that it contained, but the moderators reviewed it and cleared it to the site.

LoLo, it just seems some rules are not really posted. For instance, the previous question I posted about why a comment did not go through was blocked as having been asked before. Now, for me to know that, I would have to search the site to know...but since the question was specific to the comment held back...I am not sure how it was asked before. I am a huge stickler on reading rules and trying to follow them. So, for me...even if the site does not mean it...it feels like getting slapped for no reason. But I sent a note to the link you gave me and just so glad you answered! Thank you for being patient and actually addressing my concern and question!
