The higher grade you teach do you get more money or do all teachers get the same amount?

i know this is kinda a stupid question but still

It varies a lot. I'm sure most teachers in one high school earn around the same, but then the salary of teachers at a completely different middle school would be completely irrelevant. It depends on how much is in the school's budget.

Teachers get paid based on how many years they've been teaching.

It depends on the school system you work for, but in most cases if they do it isn't much. As long as you are talking about K-12. Once you get up to college level the salaries go up.

In the Los Angeles schools the pay scale is the same no matter what grade level you teach. Taking more education classes and number of years of service determine the actual amounts earned beyond the base pay.
