When tearing a sheet from a roll of paper towels, would it be better to use a quick jerk or a steady pull?

steady pull. A quick jerk usually results in tearring off more than you want or ripping the paper towel. Why were you wondering?

Definitely a quick pull. It separates the sheets easier. Pulling slowly will leave a long roll of sheets making it more difficult to get one sheet.

This is absolutely hilarious. We Americans these days... Anyway if it's soft paper then you should pull slower and if it's tough strong paper you should pull a little faster. Lol still crackin up...

Hilarious question!!! I say, if both hands are free and you can use one hand to steady the paper towel roll then with the other hand you can pull the wanted amount of paper towels off. But...if you are attacking this paper towel roll with one hand, be quick!! Pull and jerk!

That totally depends on whether you buy the very inexpensive paper towels that wouldn't tear apart if you used both hands and your teeth! Or the expensive brands that tear easily! I guess you'll have to figure this one out on your own!

And what's the correct way to install toilet paper? Over the top of the roll? Or behind it?
