How do you find the average of two decimals?

Report as

the general rule of finding an average is to add all of the numbers. then divide the answer by the number of numbers. for example: 0.2 + 0.4 = 0.6. Then 0.6/2 = 0.3
or 0.2 + 0.4 + 0.5 = 1.1 then 1.1/3 = 0.366
