What does "Hz" mean in tv shopping & is it important?

Report as

The higher the number of hertz The better the tv. 60 hertz is average 120 is decent and 240 is good. On flat screen tv's the higher the hertz the less blurry the picture will be on a movie or show scene with a lot of movement. This could get annoying on a low hertz tv when your really into a movie

Hz is the abbreviation of hertz, which is the frequency of televisions. All of them are basically the same, although since all tvs today are flat screen, get a Samsung tv. It is of great quality.

Hz in tv shopping is very important because it refers to "Hertz" or the number of time that an image in an LCD or HDTV is updated per second. If you're buying an HDTV with a 240Hz it simply means that your tv will refresh 240 times in a second.
