I think that all humans and animals that ever lived on earth will reappear at noon on Dec. 21,2012. With all that breathing, soon the earth will run out of oxygen and we will all suffocate. Just my thought.
I think the whole thing is stupid and 100% not going to happen. People have been predicting the end of the world over and over again(and of course keep getting it wrong) and naive people have been sitting there worried it was going to happen, counting down the minutes. It never happened in the past and it isn't going to happen now. The world isn't going to end in our lifetimes.
This same thing happened just recently. I was working and it was about 10pm. People at work were saying that the world will be over by midnight. It was news to me. They said they would not go to heaven if it does end, so I said, " well, you still have 2 hours to make things right with God." :) look at it as an opportunity to be ready to face your creator. We take life for granted when we could be gone tomorrow.:) I wouldn't mind if it all ends on that day. Ready to go to my real home. :)
They keep predicting this crap and it never happens. This is what you get for worrying about the future too much- repeatedly idiots telling idiots the world will end so they get scared. So what? So what if it ends? What is the problem? Earth will phase out of reality and all the people will suffocate in space. This is my advice. Think about what your next move is- because thats exactly what the people who put this on are doing. While gaggles of people worry in circles about the world ending the people who made this lie up are gathering tools to profiteer. They are vampires feeding on your stupidity or whoever believes it. The chaos created by this armageddon speculation bs is exactly the distraction the predatory minded people need to take advantage further. If you think it helps to worry about crap you have no reason to believe is true other than a rumor than go ahead and waste your time.
This will be my 8th end-if-the-world since I was an undergrad. I remember I was in Park Square in Boston with throngs of people carrying "repent now sinners" signage and other similar messages. A friend of mine stopped one girl - about 24 - who was crying and praying - and asked her, "would you be terribly disappointed if the world didn't end tonight at midnight?" She stopped crying and started swearing at him - I thought she was going to hit him with her "repent now sinners" sign. I always wondered what happened to all of those people - was it like the Millerite "Great Disappointment" where many people sold everything they had or gave it all away - to be in a field where Jesus was predicted to appear - which didn't happen - the unusual thing about the event is that more people joined the Adventists - although some fracturing took place. Instead of being angry at the false prophecy - they became even more entrenched in their eschatological thinking. Doesn't this attest to so many people willing to endorse magical thinking instead of facing plain old reality?
At Mark 13:32,33 it says “Concerning that day or the hour nobody knows, neither the angels in heaven nor the Son, but the Father. 33 Keep looking, keep awake, for YOU do not know when the appointed time is." So no one really knows when the end of this wicked system of things will come to an end. Notice i said wicked system not the world. So we must be prepared for when that day does come.
The end of the world? No, it will be the end of the "wickedness that is so prevalent that will end - when? However, no one knows. Matthew 24:36. Most mistake the alleviation of wickedness as the end of the world - there is a distinct difference. The wickedness will soon be destroyed but the earth will stand forever
When will this system of things end? When asked about the sign of his presence “and of the conclusion of the system of things,” Jesus replied: “Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be food shortages and earthquakes . . . and because of the increasing of lawlessness the love of the greater number will cool off.” (Matthew 24:3-12) Thus, all of today’s sad news has an encouraging meaning—soon God’s Kingdom government will bring peace to obedient mankind. Jesus said: “When you see these things occurring, know that the kingdom of God is near.”—Luke 21:31.
