Is it unhealthy for a person to be nocturnal?

I almost always wake up around 1 PM, unless I have something important to do. and usually go to bed around 4, 5 AM or when I see the sun rising. could there be a health issue?

How much restorative sleep is a big factor. Plus nutrition. If you run urself down then, no if's not healthy. But if you eat right and get some good heart rate increasing excercise and get restful sleep that would be okay. You may consider getting black out curtains for your sleep area or room. Turn off all exterior distractions and get deep sleep.

I'm the same way. I go to bed about 3am and wake up about 1pm. Nothing wrong with it.
