I don't think you can ever really get rid of oily skin, I think keeping it under control by using products that work for you and help you to achieve the balance you are looking for. There are alot of products out there for oily skin, and it is about using a product that works for you.
My skin is really oily, so I have to wash my face at least twice a day using Purpose Gentle Cleansing Wash or Clinique Liquid Facial Soap Mild. During the day I sometimes use Clean & Clear Oil-Absorbing Sheets. This seems to keep the oiliness under control.
Oily skin can be from allergies, chemicals, hormones or some foods in your diet. You should use soaps that contain Zinc and very warm water when you wash. This will open the pores and help dry them out.
