I need money, badly, but there aren't any jobs. Should I start selling my belongings, or file for social security.
I live in a small town of about 6000, and even the Temp Agency isn't taking any more people. I'm only about 18, almost 19, and my mom needs help. She's in debt and needs 500 by the end of the month, and I need money to pay for my doctor appointments. I could file for social security, there's no doubt that I qualify due to my "issues". It's just that taking social security feels shameful, and dirty, knowing that it's taking money out of others pockets. People who need it, rather than some crazy person like myself. So, yes or no?
