If you are waiting for a reply from a college about your admission, does it matter how thick the envelope is?

I recently applied to a few colleges, and a few people told me that if you receive an envelope that is thin, then it means you didn't get it. Does it matter? I don't want to be nervous just from staring at the envelope haha!

That's BS., my first acceptance letters were just that letters. The flood of paperwork comes next, & continues to come until you accept or decline the offer. Most really want to set up another meeting & a tour of the campus if you have done so previously. The rejection letters were the same size-i think

It depends.. Sometimes, the college just sends you a single acceptance letter and gives you a booklet and brochure separately in the mail.
