Are there insects that live in the soil and can cause sever itching to your pets?

I have 2 dogs I saved from the pound.. We used to have a beautiful lawn in the backyard. It's all gone now from their constant running & playing ... Since then they both are itching badly !! Could this be caused by the soil they lay and play in?

Pin worms definitely! fleas? are they on flea meds?

There is no sign of fleas either in the home outside or on them..
There are no signs of flea bites or bites of any kind...
We have treated both the home and the outside before we brought them home...
They were fine for over a year.. The only thing I can think of is the dirt they play and lay in... All other " usual" causes have been ruled out..
I really need to help them and relieve them of this mysterious itch... And it's origin.. They are not doing well .. Poor babies!

Pin worms!!? Are they visible to the eye or microscopic ?!!
Where do they live and thrive in???

Nope!!! Not pin worms!
They are fine anal and vaginal...
Sigh... Any other thoughts??

Sand fleas maybe?

Do San fleas exists in ground soil??

Allergies, new shampoo anything different?

No those where also eliminated as suspects ...
Our vet gave them a allergy test and they are not allergic to the food we give them and do bath them with a anti bact. And hydro. Cort.shampoo..
This is the third incident with the itching... We end up at the. Vet for a cortisone shot.. This time.... It did not take .. Itching still and increasingly getting worse!
I'm at a lost!!!

Stress? strong emotions about something? When I was young and my dad died, I broke out in hives.

Well thought tat could be an issue.. Anxiety seperation..
They are kennel siblings... So if we are not home, they have each other to keep them company... He'll they have anxiety if they are separated !!! Lol
