How can I get my headset working? When I bought it the man at the store said to just plug it in and it would start working?

I just bought a brand new Logitech headset and I can't get it to work. And yes I'm plugging it in properly. I lost the recipt

Take the headset back at the store and ask for a replacement. You may have lost the receipt but the store always keeps a copy of another receipt for emergencies. Just tell the date the headset was purchased and have the man at the store check it out in his receipt.

If the store won't take the merchandise back. Tell the manager that you will spread the word to all your friends, and will shop at a reputable store from now on. This tactic works.
