How to stop food cravings?

I was fine all day but I had a snow-cone, a little cotton candy, a little peice of elephant ear, and funnel cake, frozen lemonade ice cream, an Oreo, a Choco milkshake and 6 mcnuggest at micdonalds, and only a bit of cheese-it's but I'm CRAVING FFOOODDDD SOOOO BADLY I WANNA EAAT ANYTHING I'm thirteen

Because all you eat is sugar. It has no nutrition in it. It satisfies you momentarily but will be hungry later.

Why don't you eat? Doesn't seem like your eating very healthy. Just a bunch of junk food. Your not going to develop as you should. To many empty calories. You want a snack eat some carrots or fruit. Something that's good you u.

STOP EATING WHEAT!!!!!!!!!!!! Wheat has opioids in it which is the hormone that makes you crave foods!!! (especially unhealthy ones) Its also VERY bad for you!!

chew gum, chew ice, ect. if u r dieting, note that it is ok to eat small portions of healthy food. but before u eat, ask ur self if u r really hungary or just bored.

Be careful.. chewing on ice will ruin your teeth. I know several people that needed major dental work after having an ice eating habit!!!!!

After I eat like that I find that I crave healthy food. Eat a peanut butter sandwich and veg beef soup. That should even out your sugar tilt.

if you continuously eat sugary things, your body will start craving foods that are GOOD FOR YOU in order to balance everything out correctly. stop eating junk food, and start eating healthy stuff like chicken noodle soup, PB&J sandwich, etc. trust me. your cravings will stop.

OK, food cravings pertaining to sugar r related to Candida. Cure yourself, Try looking up, Confidential underground report by, Dr, Jennifer Daniels. I have tried this and it works. just remember, you will drink a hell of a lot of water. you will loose wait, quite amazing really.

You're thirteen. Enjoy the fast metabolism while it last. Also, those food cravings have a lot to do with puberty and "that time of the month". I have a lot of cravings when my "lady days" are about to come on.

Do you eat a normal food, like cooked meals and so on? If you cut the junk and put in your daily food plan, all food groups, the craving will stop. Also it's a good idea to do some exercises.

Fruits and veggies are the best snacks. We all have to watch our intake of sugar and fat which is the primary ingredients of junk food. Yogurt is also a great snack with blueberries and strawberries on top of it. I actually lost a lot of weight with this snack. Find a brand of yogurt you like and start eating it lots. Also look at labels on food products you buy--it will help you realize what foods are good and bad. We all need to avoid the high fructose corn syrup put in many foods, the high fats and the high sugary foods.

well since your 13, your probably at that stage where you need to eat lot and that's normal because for some reason during your teen years you need to eat a lot so that it can help you grow, i believe

dont worry its normal, i've been thru that phase when i was a teen as well, but the only thing i must suggest you is that you dont eat TOO much junk food, its gonna prevent you from growing and plus that's not good for you, eat a few of it but for the rest eat healthy :)

Well I read an article about if you want to stop and control your hunger, you gotta just smell food. You'll lose weight. I'm sorry if my answer doesnt help you.... v.v

You eat terrible foods. Get some fruits and vegetables, make oatmeal and quinoa, beans and so on. Use these things to create vast and healthy meals and eat to your hearts content. Don't forget to drink lots of freshly pressed juice.

Hey, Dido. What you do is find a food that is good for you that you love to eat and just snack on that a little. Drink water and milk, that actually helps. Then just do something good outside, because it sounds like you are at a fair. Hang out with your friends and it will take your mind off of all that disgusting junk food.

torcowish, you have to eat food that has fiber and not sugar. Fiber will fill you up and keep you full longer and you won't want to eat all time. You can find food with fiber on your internet. Check it out. If you start eating right now you will get use to it and you will not always be hungry!!! Also start moving. Walking around the block will help. Get a group of girls and guys and challenge them to walk. MAKE IT FUN!!!

BEFORE you decide to eat something, ask yourself "am i hungry" If say "am i willing to eat vegies of fruit" if you are go for it, if not just drink some water. WATER WATER WATER!!!

Your body is telling you that it is starved for real nutrition. I would love to be able to live on chocolate ice cream but, if I want to be healthy and maintain a healthy weight, I must eat a balanced diet with fruits and vegetables included. A healthy life doesn't come with an easy button.

You're eating simple carbs such as processed foods and your body quickly burns thru it so you continue to crave sugar. The best things to eat are fresh veggies/ fruits, oats, whole or multi-grain breads/ pastas. Lay off the candy bars, cakes, sodas, wite bread, chips, etc. and you will lose weight and be healthier.

Eat SPYRULINA, it will give you almost all the nutrients, vitamins and minerals, you won't need to eat more than what is necesssary.

I have always been thin, even when I was pregnant, and here is my secret: I eat everything I crave, only I eat small portions all day long, like seriously every hour or two. When you deny something your body wants, you become consumed by it, thus the sudden spurts of indulgence that will lead to overeating, causing weight gain you don't want, where you will then get into a cycle of dieting, denying yourself of things for a few days/weeks and then indulging in them, and gaining weight, and will repeat over and over, and you'll always be miserable. So just make conscious choices to eat healthier stuff, while also understanding that your body will crave the sweets and fats, and that's ok. If you truly feel guilty, take whatever you're eating, cut it in half, and either save the other half, dump it, or share it.
That's my advice, from a 30 year old skinny girl :)

Eat whole black peppercorns. Chew a couple follow by a glass of water. You will not crave snacks afterwards.

If you are 13, then your body is just trying to grow. I would suggest, working out or going for a run so your body stays fit and eating healthy food sot hat your body can be strong and healthy. Junk food is ok every now and then, but if you want a good body when you get older, eat healthy food.

Carry a small tube of toothpaste and when the urge hits dab a small drop on your teeth. It'll make the food taste awful and you'll stop.
