Mods, do I have a target painted on my back?

If I answer a question, and my answer is extremely similar if not exactly the same as another, mine gets removed but the others don't. Have I become a target for you? I imagine that when an answer's flagged, you can see the whole thread. Why am I being isolated from the rest? Edit: I've also noticed that some of the time, my answer's aren't offensive and they're still removed. I don't think it's right that the asker flags the answer because it's not what they wanted to hear, and it's still removed.
