It could be something involving your muscular skeletal system or an underlying organ problem. Some of the question you should ask yourself. Was there something that first brought it on? Does it get better or worse when you move or touch it anywhere? It is possible you pulled or strained a muscle. sometimes when people cough they can pull their rib muscles causing a condition known as costalchodritis. But because the organs of the chest are so very vital, I would suggest that you consult your physician. Only a detailed examination and assessment by a licensed practitioner can yield a definitive diagnosis. Good luck!
