What is the best way to get sleep without medication

Report as

Dido on not having sugar or caffeine before bed (probably not after 3pm). If I'm having trouble sleeping I close my eyes and pick something to thing about like umm... I've always wanted to go scuba diving so I think about what it'd be like, where I would go, and what it'd look like. I'm usually asleep before I know it.

Bedtime tea, that's what i've been drinking lately. Also another thing that helps is exercising during the day.

Is this a psychological problem? Like depression? Then clear your mind or something. If it's physical, like energy related, then exercise?

Take melatonin. It is not a medication so much as a natural hormone. Works like a charm.

Is that an exclusively iPad app, or can it work for iPod touch as well?

Yes, melatonin works well. It is a pill, but it's not considered a drug or prescription medication, it's considered a natural supplement.
