Why can't I answer this question? mods?

first time answering a q today, and it won't let me! it sends this blank bar up and it says "ok" and I click it. it doesn't let me answer! I thought my answer might be too long, so I condensed it but nope! it won't let me answer... why? edit:it let me answer one question, but not one specific one... is my answer too long??

Mine did that too. Maybe a glitch in the system
