What is the best way to wash a baseball cap without ruining the visor?

I've heard of putting it in the dishwasher but I don't have one...

The best way to wash a baseball cap without ruining the visor is by using hand wash woolite soaps. First, rinse the cap with cold water, and then dip it in a bowl with water and woolite soap. Then, use a piece of cloth to rub the surfaces of the cap. Finally, you can rinse the cap with clean water and let it dry. All of my caps that I've had for years have had a plastic bill. So I just run them through the washing machine, and they have always been fine.

Try handwashing, just be careful with the brim. Let air dry and put weight on the brim while drying to keep it from curling.

Wash all mine in the washing machine without any problems. Sure wouldn't want to try it with my Stetson though.
