It's fine! Like nafta said as long as you clean up after them it's fine. I have 4 inside and there's 9 outside. Everyone's been rescued including my dog Sadie. Love them all!!! It's not gross. Don't listen to the first comment
I think ONE cat is one too many! No offense, I'm just a "dog person," always have been. Liked having 2 dogs together, they were great with each other. Have as many cats as you like, just be sure you have plenty of litter boxes & keep 'em super-clean. I get nauseous when I walk into a house that reeks of cat P & poo. Also, PLEASE keep them indoors at ALL times. I get cats "spraying" P on my back porch & it stinks... really bad.... GRRRR!!!! >:- (
I have three inside cats. I trained them to let me vacuum them to tame the hair issues and have to clean the litter box every day. But that's just part of being a good owner. I wouldn't want a smelly house or to be constantly picking hair off of me. I'm sure guests wouldn't either.
I dont think so but only if you can take care of them. If someone can not take care of one cat then one is too many. As long as you can feed them clean after them, keep them happy and not be over whelmed then its not to many.
