What's up with all the Hitler questions tonight?

He was a horrible man, but very intriguing to me. HTH could one man posses the power to cause mass genocide like that, and no one stood up and shot him in the head. Most people didn't even want to be a Nazi or a part of the SS, but the Gestapo would be on your ass. I guess fear of kill or be killed set in and a lot of people suffered because of it.

I'm Jewish, so he interests me too, but I'm meaning, a lot of people here on ask tonight have made comments or asked questions about him. Which isn't typical for ask. So I was wondering if today or this week were maybe anniversarys of something that happened?

I totally understand that. I'm Black, and I hate it when people dwell on the hatred toward our skin color, because we aren't all A.A., like me. The Jews have been suffering for thousands of years, and still are. I'm not trying to demean the Black American struggles, but people have had it a lot worse, for a longer period of time. A few hundred for us, thousands for you guys...I'm sorry for everyone who is hated upon. It really hurts me...punk mode :/

The truth is that many, many people actually were just as racist and homophobic as he was. I'm sure that not ever person was ready to pull the trigger for Hitler but many clearly did. Many more lived near concentration camps, watched their Jewish neighbors and co-workers being shipped off and murdered and didn't do anything. They profited from Hitler's regime. Thank goodness for those who did resist and saved their Jewish countrymen.

And smelled their bodies being burned, watched them being shipped off to Auschwitz and other camps, and the wives stood by idly. If you even fled during that time, or if your family weren't supporters of Hitler and Himmler, then they were killed, as well as the soldiers on the front line. It just befuddles me how the world stood by. That was a movement, and it was successful enough to wipe so many humans off the face of the planet. Men, women, children. I wouldn't have made it as a slave, or in a concentration camp because the anger would've gotten me.

Oh, and he wasn't even Aryan, and hid it. If Himmler found out, what then?
Report as
then i think things could have been somewhat different but then again nothing could've changed... i guess we'll never know!

I think it's today's trend, LMBO!!! I'm glad hit bit the cyanide, and Ava his little trollop, hehe! It just makes me cry when I see how much people hate especially to that point. The Pianist had my crying for weeks, haha! Now I have a nerve to be studying German, but just because it's different that's all.
