Will peroxide get rid of an infection in your mouth?

Report as

Antibiotics are the only way to kill an infection so see your dentist ASAP! While waiting peroxide/water mix mouth rinse, ibuprofen (tylenol will not help pain-just a fever) an oral analgesic if possible and a warm compress. Salt will only dry and you (as yuck as it may sound) want the warmth and let the body fight and push it out. For sure see your dentist though! Root canals STINK!!

Take 1000 mg of garlic three times a day until infection is gone. You can buy odorless garlic gel pills at your local drug store. My dentist said I needed a root canal. I was not going for that. Googled NATURAL ways to get rid of mouth infection, and garlic is what I found. It worked! No root canal for me!
