How do i get my teacher to let me back on student council

So I was a straight a student running for student and I accidentally left my phone and when it rang I got detention and wasn't allowed to run anymore. How can I get back on??

i think you should tell her that a phone ringing happens to everyone and i bet it would have happened to her when she was a kid. and plus it wasnt your fault and tell her how you get really good grades and you would be perfect for this position and you would do anything you can and you didnt mean for your phone to ring.

Tell her you realize you made a mistake having you phone on at school then ask for forgiveness and a second chance to prove you are responsible.
