Why is my rabbit bite me ( and draw blood) when i take great care of her?

Report as

She may be hurt. She mite also be hungry or thirsty. The way I got around it was I put on welding gloves and sprinkled red pepper on the ends. It's totally harmless.. Soon enough she will realize she doesn't like the taste of red pepper and she will stop biting. If all goes well you should be holding your rabbit within 2 or 3 weeks without gloves..maybe even sooner...

My rabbit bit me today cause she wanted to eat and my finger was in the way of her food so It could of been that she/he had wanted it and felt as if you were teasing it with something

She is a prey animal. We are great big predators, complete with long arms and eyes on the front of our faces. She needs lots of conditioning/training to learn you are not a threat. You have been given some good ideas on how to help her. The most important is to spend lots of time with her.
