He is Gods son born through the virgin Mary to take on human form. Jesus is the one and only savior that takes away our sins, not Mary, all she was was an instrument used in Gods Holy plan to carry out his will. We should not worship Mary or anyone else except the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit!

I get really frustrated by indoctrinated comments like 'your hearts are hardensed' etc.... What do they mean?? It could be said that a Christians heart is hardened to repel the truth about their own convictions. It's just a pointless statement than no one can take further.

I think your 'god egg' is well and truly scrambled. He sent himself to get sacrificed for a rule he created which he designed to be flouted by creations he created himself. But he didn't really sacrifice anything did he? Has he given anything up? He created himself in human form to be nailed to a cross. That was the purpose. There is no sacrifice there. He is still in charge, no loss of revenue, rank, authority, dominion, life expectancy, intellectual capacity... A sacrifice implies a loss of some kind. What did he lose?

God has no physical shape, form, or size. God cannot be confined in a finite volume, in particular not the 0.2m^3 or so which is the volume of the human body: "the heavens and the heavens' heavens will not contain you" (1 Kings 8:27). God cannot beget. That's a human function. How can God have a bodily function, if God has no body? The suggestion as if God can beget a child, or that God has human form is a terrible blasphemy!

No, God cannot 'beget'. The very idea is sacrilege. God also does not eat, smell, see, or hear in a human or animal way, although we sometimes use these terms metaphorically. As for John 3:16, the Greek word used in all manuscripts (or almost all) is monogenes, which could also mean favorite son, not necessarily only begotten. At any case, John is not a true gospel. As Y. Klausner wrote, John is a philosophical-religious text, not a historical-religious one like the synoptic gospels. At any case, I do not accept what it says as necessarily true.

there are many scriptures in the Bible {KJV is closer to the exact translation} stating that Jesus IS the Son of God. The Bible is infallible{no errors} James 1:17, Son of God scriptures, Matthew 1:23, 8:29, John 5:25. there are many in the KJV. just do a goggle search on "Son of God"

Historically, we can be as certain of what we read about Christ in the Bible as almost any other recorded event. Refusing to believe in Jesus is not because of a lack of evidence. Refusing to believe can only be because we thumb our nose at God, or that we are unwilling to change. People reject Jesus because of moral reasons, not intellectual ones.

It is not necessary that Jesus say a certain phrase in order for the truth of who he is to be made clear. The issue is not if he speaks a certain sentence that we construct in present terms in order to satisfy our theological demands. The issue is what did Jesus say in the context and culture of the time in which he spoke.
Finally, we know that Jesus is God in flesh because the Bible tells us so.

The God in the Old Testament says in Isaiah 41:13 "I am the LORD, your God..." If you can't find a verse from Jesus own lips saying that "I am God, Worship me", dont tell others to worship him because you have absolutely no proof

A fact is data that we can observe. We can believe it is an historical and eternal fact, but we have no way to actually observe it. So we can't know it is a fact. I believe he is. However, I believe he was more than that as well, and I believe that most people in our society have no clue what "Son of God" even means.

I have to say for the first 38 years of my life. I did not believe that God existed and certainly did not believe in the Bible. There came a day 6 years ago when Jesus and only Jesus changed me for eternity. He is real. Each of us are given opportunities to say yes to HIm. yes for the need of a Savior, yes that we believe that He is who the Bible says He is. I encourage each of you that do not believe. Do not ask other people who have their own idea about God, or Faith. You are asking folks who have no relationship with Christ if He is real. It would be like asking me if sushi tastes good... I wouldn't know so all I could do is give you my opinion or tell you someone elses opinion about it. Ask Him for yourself. Sincerely ask Him to reveal His love for you.It may take a bit of searching and asking but He is Faithful. If He came to die for my sins and yours ....surely if you knock at the door... it will be opened. For some it will be a quick response, for others maybe longer... don't quit searching, dont't quit knocking... when your heart is ready you will know. The Truth will set you free.

As far as "sparing others" For me to not believe in Christ most of my life, and then come to know I was wrong... how could I not want to tell others about it? Try to imagine yourself coming to know you were wrong. Would you not want to tell others about Him? If those that knew Christ were never to open their mouth about Him we would not truly be His... He is so life changing in every way you would want to share.... There is a difference between Truth and fact. The job of proving Christ existence to you is above my ability. My relationship with Christ is mine. You and you alone must come to know the truth. It may be a fact that you do not believe He is real. Does that make it the truth that He does not exist? That is why in my response to ask Him for yourself. Have you really asked Him if He is real? Or do you ask others, read what others say, go by their experience. The relationship you have with Christ is your own. If you have honestly searched for Him and asked Him to reveal Himself to you that you would know the truth. Before I was saved I would debate those (my wife included) that believed in Jeses. I would ask How can you believe in something you cant see, hear, touch etc. Then there came a time when my questioning was not to poke holes in their faith, but to say Jesus if you are real as crazy as this sounds would you reveal yourself to me. My life was forever changed. So a discussion on the internet will not get you to the Truth. Humble yourself. and search for Him.. asking Him... not me... not your friends... Him I pray that your search will change your life.. blessings

I agree the world would be a better place for more people. However, this is a fallen world and at some time, perhaps soon then end will come. True relationship with Christ cannot be forced, true relationship cannot come through reciting lines, performing rituals etc etc. Even believing can be called into question... today I believe.. but situations or circumstance could cause that belief to waver. If that belief becomes relationship and a knowing that Christ is who He said He is and the Bible was given to us to give us further insight into Him... then your house is on a firm foundation. IF Christ Himself does not force himself on anyone.. because we have choice... how then could a true follower of Christ think he could "force Christ" on anyone. This world will never be wonderful until Christ returns. There is good, and wonderful things about it... however because of our sin there will be hurt, loss, sin, etc etc. blessings
