I respect all religions as long as they are not hurting anyone, but I am not religious. As long as people of any believe can learn to respect each other, and give equal rights regardless of who you are, its all good. But, thats only in a perfect world...

This is a dangerous question and I am nervous even trying to answer it. Those folk of religious persuasion are irredeemably locked into their beliefs and interpretations, so there is no point in attempting a dialogue. Non-believers also tend to be fixed in their opinions, so again: it pays to not get them started on religious philosophy. It's all rather sad, really. But I guess religion is useful - the enthusiastic believers certainly keep over-population under control.
