I wouldn't get a 1978 Trans Am as your first car they're not year round vehicles & they tend to need alot of work a good choice to start with would be like a 2001 Mitsibishi Eclipse or like a Ford F150

Yes it would be. Thats when cars were built right. My Fiance had a 1977 firebird formula that had his blood, sweat and money put into it. It was his mustang and corvette eater. Lol. Jut remember its easy and super fast to sink money into it, but oh so worth it!

if it's your 1st car i'm assuming you're young & on a budget. that thing is gonna be a GAS HOG! something to keep in mind. also, you wouldn't want to drive that thing in the winter (if you live in an area that gets snow/ice)
