not all girls do... but usually it's because of how society makes girls feel.. we're supposed to be "perfect" (which of course no one is). not all girls are like that though but usually it's because we feel like we have to look good
I don't. As some people might say: You don't look good without makeup, Adia. Or... Your the most unkempt person I have ever met. And in one case... You look like a cement truck hit you and you SURVIVED. I am who I am, I suppose. Why would I change what I am made to be?
Because girls want to feel accepted in their environment. Want people to tell them they're beautiful. Weather they try so hard or not, some girls just love the clean feeling and the feeling of not being lazy. Some girls do it to impress, others do it, just to get by another day.
If her face is piled on with makeup, each finger- and toenail is a different design, she smells like a brothel, and her hair is in intricate designs, 3 hours is probably needed. Otherwise, I'd say she's spending way too much time getting ready.
Not all girls take that long, however. I can get up, shower, hygiene it up, and get dressed and ready in less than half an hour most days. And that includes the days I actually wear makeup.
Those girls that spend so long getting ready and walk out completely normal-looking? They're probably standing in front of the mirror obsessing over something--a hair out of place, a pimple, etc. Some females just have that obsession--to look perfect.
You're going to have to drop hints if you want it to change. Let her know you think she's gorgeous without makeup, that the makeup makes her look older, you think (be nice or she'll think you're a jerk). Tell her you like her hair just down around her face, natural. Tell her it makes her look sexy. I'm a woman, and I can vouch--I fall for it every time, and so do most other women.
They're insecure, they want to get guys' attention, or they want to fit into a specific group. Some girls. I love dressing up or else sticking to my regular style, but grabbing a guy's attention is not what of my favorite things to do, like some girls. As well as tanning, wearing hair extensions, wearing those push-up bras, wearing mini-skirts, wearing pounds of make-up and so on. I honestly think that a lot of girls should stick to their natural look instead of trying to be somebody else. It's better to be yourself. That always makes things a lot easier anyhow.
