How do i get the swoopy emo style hair if i have cow licks?

im a guy and really like the emo genre.....i have the skinnies and the shirts...i've wanted this hair style for like 4 years now but havent been able to figure out how to obtain it. suggestions and tips would be very much appreciated. :)
