Capital one charged me with Mps Ce Atmmpsgn 4 times today. What does it mean?

Report as

Mps Ce Atmmpsgn sounds like it would be for $1 and is a pre-authorization to see if a charge will go through. If by chance you haven't charged anything lately, or paid for any music downloads, I would call Capital One. Their number is on the back of your card.

You can call them anytime - the number is on the back of the credit card.

and yours would be ?? If the number is on the back of their credit / debit card, and they have access to their online banking information, and we don't what would you like someone to say ? To make up a reason for a bank's internal coding ?

I didn't answer, as I didn't have any advice, I was simply commenting on your answer. I think they were just looking for an opinion, or some friendly advice. Not for someone to solve their problem, I'm sure they were going to call the bank once they opened.

It was helpful when you told them that they you could call at anytime, as they didn't seem to know this before and neither did I.
