Why are really old people obsesed with jepardy and family feud

my gram watches it every day

they love to keep sharp and it will delay if not stop old timers from setting in. I knew a lady that was 94 and she was sharp till the day she passed away. kept her brain working and with tv shows like that it is brain exercises but in a fun way

Because those shows have been on for over 25 years. And the people who watch them have mostly watched them from the beginning and enjoy them so have watched them faithfully.
