When Islam straitens up we wont need to take such measures. Islam slowly pulls the pistol from it's waistband and forces America to prepare fighter drones and gun shots by computer- we want peace and acceptance for our way of life and demand the right to say what we please. Islam continues to try to intimidate and we are prepared to utterly destroy it if it threatens the way of life our ancestors worked so hard to build. We want peace but Islam continues to draw the sword. Disarm and Lucifer has no need for violence.

Islam is having trouble acclimating to the American way and America is having trouble integrating Islam into it. In time the culture will be domesticated but the over-sensitivity of Islam is prolonging the process because they think they have something to prove. The only thing that will probably be proved in the long run is how beheading enemies is less important than paying bills and blue collar jobs. They just haven't realized we don't live in the dark ages any more and uncivil barbarism doesn't fly as an occupation in america any more.

As a religion I'm fine with it. It follows many of the same values as the other Abrahamic religions. It's doctrines are different, but its theology is based on the God of Abraham.
As a culture I find their unequal treatment of other people disturbing. The way that they impose control over other people's religious beliefs and practices in many of their countries are often oppressive, yet they demand not only equality, but insist on freedom from criticism as well, in our country.
This inequality is at the core of a lot of people's frustration with Islam. If one American fool says something hateful online, many thousands of Muslims appear in protest claiming justification to kill innocent people. If they oppress other people's religious rights in their country, we must accept that our practices are seen as disrespectful to their culture, and it's we who must change to please them.
It seems in every venue they demand extreme respect and acceptance towards their beliefs when they are in the minority, while at the same time refusing all but the most minimal level of tolerance towards other people's beliefs when they are the governing power.
Again, of course I know that individual Muslims are fine, dedicated people, I'm well aware of that. As I've said before, I studied Koran, know and respect the people, even at one time considered converting and marrying a Muslim women. No need to tell me what nice people Muslims are, I know that.
I'm talking about how Islamic nations treat others. Not one of them shows the kind of respect for other religions in their nation, that Muslims demand toward their religion in our nation.
