How often do vandals get caught

Do police use fingerprinting to catch vandals? is this an effective way to find them?

Usually, thieves get caught cause they try to sell the crap they stole.
Vandals usually get caught because of surveillance or tips.
Street writers or taggers get caught by tagging identification( their style of art or lettering)
The police miss a bunch of them but
KARMA gets us all .

No they don't. They only fingerprint for serious crimes like murder. Vandals get caught quite often however.

They can use fingerprints. Often areas are under surveillance and vandals are caught that way or through tips from those in the area.

Most vandals get busted eventually. Most people don't realize that their is camera watching you just about everywhere these days. And the police rely heavily on these cameras.
