Yes, I'd say so. The economy turned horrible when the Republican President George W. Bush became President. It takes a while for someone to make something better... As they say, "Rome wasn't built in a day."

Open your eyes. He's doing better than Bush. I've noticed EVERY time a Republican becomes President they screw up the economy so bad. Then, after that, a Democrat becomes President and you Republicans blame the Democrats for the Republicans actions. Then, after 4 years you expect (or don't expect, I've got no idea) it to be all goody two-shoes? That's not how it works, buddy.
